TMV Is In Repair and Rebuild

Despite the many down videos and the recent forum spamming by bots I just want you all to know that I have not forgotten or given up on The Movie Vault.

I have been working for quite some time tirelessly on a brand new version of the website which will completely replace the existing. The new site is 100% responsive, mobile compliant and extremely user friendly.

We suffered a serious RAID failure costing us several hundred of our video streams and have since been collecting as many of the missing movie stream videos as possible. We plan on re-uploading all of the original and future videos in the collection to the new website, which employs better multi-bitrate streaming and mobile friendly videos.

I apologize during this time of transition as I have not been keeping up with TMV. The major design flaw in TMV was its requirement for constant upkeep, something I do not have the time for anymore if I want to truly finish this new framework which will once again redefine the community we all know and love.

Stay tuned for updates, chances are one day soon this website will look something very different, and that's something definitely worth getting excited about!

Awesome! Good luck there!
Another thing I would like to say is, that maybe a Trackmania category should be in there again! We are a big videomaking community and would like to get recognition here too!

Keep up the great work, many may have forgotten about the website but I certainly haven't. And I'm sure in time with a bit of luck (and a few new video editing friendly game releases like war thunder) the site can become the home for fragmovies again. I'm not that interested in it but there are a lot of great battlefield movies being made at the moment, that should be the target group for the site to be successful.

Thanks, a big change to the site and community following this next release will be user driven content and control by the users, rather than depending on me and a couple volunteers to do everything

I loved this site from when I was a middle school student. But many things changed, PC gaming is dead when developers had start deleting dev consoles, blocking mods, downgrade pc games for consoles. Not only frag movie is dying but also PC mods is dying except some RPG games... But still, Machinima (the most site I hated for stealing footage) looks it's not fallen yet cuz actual site is dead but their YouTube channels are based on many light gamer. So I guess we need some ways to bringing TMV to the light.

Anyway, some years ago, is it true that TMV Youtube Channel was banned for musics? That time, I'm not good at ENG( Korean;) ) so I couldn't get to forum, didn't know why I can't see TMV on Youtube anymore.

Youtube is rediculous, our old account was banned due to some bogus copyright claims not by music rights owners but by 'Onexia', a world of warcraft machinima producer who was unhappy that more views were accumulating on our channel (which was automatically filled by our backend mirroring tmv content) and they shut the account down with no warning. I have since decided to not start a new one.

Lets get this site back up and running! I know for a fact that each one of us incorporated themovievault into an important time period of our lives. We all can bring it back and make it better than ever. The movie-making scene will never die; lets remake this the home of e-sports creativity!

Keep the support coming guys, it means a lot to me seeing you passionate. Once upon a time this place was great, I truly believe that with the new site and the hopeful rebirth of the community we can take this to the next level, I've never stopped caring about this community even after so many lost hope, thanks for believing with me :)
