Such an underrated movie that doesn't get the attention it should have imo. Not a big fan of community frag movies but this one changed my mind. The music in this whole movie is so great imo, it all brought about the same atmosphere, especially the intro/outro. The frags were all pretty damn good with a great amount of editing/syncing with a little side of some amazing transitions. This movie has the best transitions I've seen in CS:S movie history. Really great movie from IoF, can't wait for his next movie.

i really liked this movie, espicially the first 2 frag parts, some really sick transitions, nice chroma work, and good camera work, the first frag part was so chill and synced perfectly, the 2nd was a lot harder hitting but good; IoF is definetly some one to watch for future projects

I have received more positive reviews for this movie then all of my other works combined. I thought the year (roughly) I put into this movie showed quite well not only in the general editing, but in the creative ideas I put into play, like the transition from Tuscan to Mill.
Without doubt I cant take full credit for the ideas, because I was largely influenced by media I viewed; Scrubs inspired me to make the Tuscan, Mill transition and House inspired me to do the dull/coloured contrast in the intro of livE eviL. I'm HOPING more people can see this movie in the simplest of terms, as an entertaining watch. I don't expect it to be stashed away and considered an all-time great, and I sure as hell don't expect people to in any way idolize me or recreate my art. I'm merely praying someone somewhere enjoys watching. All the best ;) --IoF |

This is probably one of THE most criminally under rated moves to date. It is fucking sad to see this movie get anything lower then a 9.

Video Review
The movie is well edited throughout, featuring a few gorgeous transitions and effects. The syncing especially stands out as every beat to every song is well thought out and has a frag placed on top of it, along with a subtle player bar that fits into the mood of the movie. The frags are the best part to this movie, featuring everything you can think of.
Consisting of three different frag parts, three different frag songs and 10 minutes long, Ice of Flames had a lot to play with, but adopted a slow pattern to the movie which I believe was his downfall. The monotony of the beats in the frags and the length of the songs in my humble opinion mean that this movie has no real spark to get you excited. It's pace is too slow and it suffers, and the great frags and syncing are unable to recoup the lost momentum.
The movie ends with the same type of music it begins with, very slow melodic and serene, which is the genre furthest from the violent nature of Counter Strike Source. Overall it is a well thought out movie and it's edited well, but the music lets it down in the end and stops Ice of Flames developing a better movie I know he's capable of.
