Easily surpassing the first rage video, Rage 2 has a lot of great aspects to it. That said it also still has an amateur feel to it, the error message got old real quick, along with the connection interrupted screen. The idea behind the video was utilized well but not great. Render was good but not great.
Generally good but not great, the next video will show how much general 4k has progressed as an editor |

I think Rage 1 was average but happily this is much better. Main menu and whole intro is very nice. When first frags came i saw those sick colors that fit the movie perfectly! Music fit too and frags were good but i didnt liked Error and Connection Interruped messages. Overall this is much better movie than Rage 1.

First of all, I did like the content. Rage 2 features some really nice scope frags. I also liked the colors and the intro - apart that game menu thing - since it really carried some atmosphere into the movie.
On the other hand, several things really annoyed me about the movie: It seems like it's lacking some speed, there were some scenes where nothing happened for seconds, which does not fit to the dramatic soundtrack at all. I was also annoyed by the repetitive transition which has already been critized, and, more importantly, by the pointless pan/crop zooming after a lot of kills. Rage 2 seems sort of unfinished to me, like it was missing some content or GeNeRaL-4K had no time left to tweak some things. Such a shame, Rage 2 really had some potential. |

A good movie with great frags, a clear theme, and generally good editing. The error messages thrown in constantly throughout the movie ruined any flow the movie had, which was a major drawback for me, but I had no other problems with this movie. A good movie, but nothing special that would set it above other frag movies.

I was never a big fan of Rage 1 and so went into this with low expectations, and I'm pleased to say I was pleasantly surprised. There is nothing new or groundbreaking about the movie but its SOLID. It doesn't have many weak points (apart from the annoying error messages) and it will hold your attention and entertain you for its entirety. Great frags, tight editing, a very epic score and a pretty clear theme make it a fun watch.

Video Review
It's good to see a sequel to the first Rage and like the first it delivers. The intro and frag part held the same theme as seen in the first film. Right into the frags I was fairly impressed with some of the sniper shots pulled off although I would have liked to see some more clutches with ak and other weapons.
One thing that bugged me in the video was the error screen that came up in transition of every 3-5 frags or so. The overall editing was solid though and synced well with the soundtrack and kept me interested until the end but didn't bring me nothing new that we've seen from the first one.
